- What is Curriculum Corner?
Curriculum Corner is the new Academic Affairs SharePoint page where you can have a one stop shop for things such as forms, proposal tracking and Curriculum Committee documents. Click here to view.
- Where can I submit my curriculum proposals?
You can submit your proposals through the Curriculum Corner Sharepoint Page under “Submit a proposal.”
- When are proposals due to the Curriculum Specialist?
You can find timelines for the different proposal types in the curriculum handbook, the Academic Affairs Curriculum Corner Sharepoint Page or under the Curriculum Process and Forms tab on this website.
- How can I track my submitted proposals?
Once your proposal is submitted, you will get status updates via email any time the status of your proposal progresses to the next step. The updates will go to the email that is entered on the submission form. You can also click this link to go to the proposal tracker at any time. Please note that the status updates will only go to the email address submitted on the submission form.
- When are catalog changes published after a proposal is approved?
Approved curriculum changes are incorporated into the appropriate academic catalog according to the annual catalog production schedule. Once the current catalog is finalized, no more changes can be made until the next catalog year.
- Why can't catalog changes be made at any time?
Catalog updates follow established publication deadlines to ensure accurate information for registration, advising and financial aid.
- I'm not sure which type of proposal I need submit. What should I do?
Contact the Curriculum Specialist or your Academic Dean before beginning your proposal. They can help determine the appropriate proposal type and required documentation.
- Can Academic Affairs review my proposal before I submit it?
Yes. Faculty are encouraged to contact the Curriculum Specialist early in the development process for guidance and preliminary review.
- Who can submit a curriculum proposal?
Typically, the faculty developer also known as the division chair or program lead will submit proposals and serve as the main point of contact for the submitted proposals.
